We live in a weight obsessed culture. The media idealizes body types that are not realistic for most people. Therefore, we are set up to strive for something that is not attainable for most. This leads to depression, self hatred, diets that do not work and anxiety. The greatest gift that we can give ourselves is to accept our bodies the way they are and to understand that we all come in different shapes and sizes.
